It’s been a while since the last BBQ news.  I am busily looking for a venue to permanently hold BBQ School, so I don’t have to move it all in and out on the same day as the class.  A permanent venue would also allow me to run more Sunday classes and evenings as well as being able to feature a bigger range of BBQ’s and Specialty cookers, pizza ovens and the like.  Finding a suitable secure undercover space or warehouse space is proving difficult.

BBQ School:
As usual, without a watertight and windproof venue, the public classes are in recess till the start of spring, when the weather becomes a little more predictable.  The dates will be in the next BBQ news.

New Product:
Even though it is not BBQ season for us, it is Peak BBQ season in the US and Europe and it is the time of year when new BBQ products become available.
The Spring catalogue will have some exciting new products including new charcoal BBQs and Smoker BBQ combo’s.  We are also increasing the range of accessories, cast iron and stainless steel cookware.

Charcoal and Solid Fuel:
I have organised to become the WA distributor for a range of new Charcoal and Briquette fuels and wood pellets, another reason to find the right venue, the instruction from Management is to stop storing pallets of BBQ fuel in “Her” carport! Finally, I hope that getting a variety of high quality solid fuel in WA will no longer be hit and miss.

Smokers and Wood chips,
There are also a new range of Smokers that will be available as well as new smoking fruit woods and a new range of wood pellets.  For those of you who are also on the Smoker newsletter list, there will be a lot of news in the next newsletter including news of a new version of the smoker cookbook.

Mail Order:
For those of you spread around the country, we have been working on minimising the courier costs so we can offer a greater range in our Mail order and Internet based services. More on that in the Spring newsletter.

New BBQ’s.
For those of you who hold large functions, there is a new Professional BBQ Spit roaster with a unique Ferris wheel style rotisserie available.  And for the Motorsport fan a V8 BBQ Grill.

Cheers
Chris
